Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Draft: to be reviewed by a lawyer.
This Privacy Policy explains how Quorlyn (“Quorlyn”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit quorlyn.co.in or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it.
1. Who we are
Quorlyn is a sole proprietorship registered in India (MSME/Udyam), based in Chandigarh. For personal data collected through this website, we act as the “Data Fiduciary” under the DPDP Act.
2. Personal data we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name, the service you are interested in and your message, when you email us, message us on WhatsApp or use a contact form.
- Analytics data, only with your consent: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and to keep the site running.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive data through this website, and we ask you not to send it to us unless a project requires it.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project
- To prepare proposals and deliver services you engage us for
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (analytics, only with consent)
- To keep the website secure and to meet legal obligations
We rely on your consent, or on the “legitimate uses” permitted by the DPDP Act, such as when you voluntarily give us your data for a specific purpose. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
4. Client data in projects
When we build or run systems for a client (for example a chatbot, automation or ad campaign), we may process personal data of that client's customers. In that case the client is the Data Fiduciary and we act as a Data Processor, handling the data only on the client's documented instructions and under a written agreement.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Website hosting and email (Hostinger)
- Contact form delivery (Web3Forms), once a form is in use
- Analytics (Google Analytics), only with your consent
- Messaging (WhatsApp, operated by Meta), if you choose to contact us there
Some of these providers may store data outside India. Where this happens, we rely on their contractual safeguards and on transfers permitted under the DPDP Act. We may also disclose data where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project data for the length of the engagement plus any period required by law (for example, tax records). After that we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data
- Withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already done)
- Have your grievances addressed by us
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
To exercise any right, email admin@quorlyn.co.in. You can change your cookie choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
8. Cookies
We use analytics cookies only if you click “Accept” on our cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. We store your choice in your browser so we don't ask again on every visit.
9. Children
Our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children (under 18) and do not track or target them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable security measures, including HTTPS, limited access and trusted providers. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
11. Grievances and contact
For questions, requests or complaints about personal data, contact: Arvind Kumar, Quorlyn, at admin@quorlyn.co.in. We will respond within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
